So When & Where did it all Start?
- John Louden & Co was founded in Manchester in 1926 originally as a supplier of Fine Cloth for Suits, selling it directly to Hand Made Tailors it was originally Woven in the Mill Town of Lancashire.
- The Company eventually moved from Lancashire to Leeds from which it expanded into Fabric for Ladies wear and Childrens Clothing and Quilting Fabric's.
- Fast Foward to Today and the Fabric like most thing's is produced abroad, in High Quality Mill's in India and Thailand but partnerships with these Mill's over the years has been key to keeping the price's reasonable and the quality of John Louden Fabric's High and has also produced the ranges of bright and colourful fabrics we all know and love today.
