Burns Night 2020

Malbers Fabrics Burns Night Blog

A Burns Night supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796)
The suppers are normally held on or near the poet's birthday, 25 January.
If you are planning to impress your guests with the perfect setting for your Haggis, Neeps & Tatties we have some traditional tartan ribbons and fabrics for you to choose from. Have a look at Macgregor tartan ribbon in red and green, Blackwatch tartan ribbon in navy and green, Royal Stewart in red and blue or the nice bright Buchanan in red green and a bold bright yellow. If you want to be a bit more adventurous why not browse the tartan fabric to use for table runners to place the Haggis on, or even Royal Stewart tartan fabric to make yourself a kilt.
Have a great time celebrating.
